We, students from Otsuchi High School and Kamaishi High School in Iwate Prefecture, will give presentations and have panel discussions. We experienced the Great East Japan Earthquake in Otsuchi, Kamaishi, Tono and Saitama at the time, and now, 12 years after the disaster, we go to high schools in the affected areas. Each of us has been carrying out research activities regarding "BOSAI" at school. Based on what we have learned, we will exchange our opinions on the situation during the disaster and disaster education we experienced, as well as what we think is necessary for the future of disaster management in Otsuchi and Kamaishi. We would be glad if you will listen to our real voices as high school students living in the areas struck by the disaster.
