Outline
In today's international society, where globalization and interdependence are deepening, various natural disasters cross national borders and have a serious impact on people's lives and livelihoods. There is a need to respond to these threats through continued international cooperation. At that time, it is important for Japan and other countries exposed to the threat of disasters to share the importance of disaster prevention, form groups, and promote efforts to deal with disasters. Japan has experienced many large-scale disasters and has long cultivated efforts to prevent disasters in advance. In order to prevent people from other countries from having similar painful experiences, it is essential to share and continuously disseminate the disaster prevention knowledge, lessons learned, and related efforts of Japan, especially the disaster-stricken local governments.
