Outline
The Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction emphasizes the role of diverse stakeholders, including women, children, and businesses, in disaster prevention and mitigation. It clearly mentions the strengthening of international cooperation in disaster prevention and mitigation efforts of developing countries. For this reason, we will discuss disaster prevention with citizen participation from the perspective of community disaster prevention through the voluntary activities of Iwanuma citizens, using the disaster situation and recovery efforts in Palu City from the Central Sulawesi earthquake as the theme.
