Since the Great East Japan Earthquake on March 11, 2011, NHK Technologies has been consistently capturing 3D images to document the changes in our hometown's landscape through the recovery process. By preserving these images in 3D, we hope to help children, grandchildren, and future generations who haven't experienced the disaster to "experience" it and its aftermath, thereby fostering a greater awareness of disaster prevention and mitigation.
