The Great East Japan Earthquake took many lives and properties and left us with terrible scars.
To never again experience such tragedy, we will exhibit the panel presentation to pass on to future generations the disaster experiences and lessons learned.We will never forget the disaster victims and disaster-stricken areas. Sharing the lessons learned in this disaster that surpass any one region or generation is important.

| Information | The Disaster Memorial Network Council was established with the aim of contributing to the strengthening of disaster prevention in the region, through promoting exchange and regional development, as well as networking to more effectively and efficiently pass on the lessons of the disaster, including the Disaster Memorial Parks being built in Iwate, Miyagi and Fukushima prefectures, and the disaster memory facilities being built or being considered for construction in Aomori, Iwate, Miyagi, Fukushima and Sendai City. |
