Activity Report for the Noto Peninsula Earthquake Disaster Area in 2024
In response to the earthquake that struck the Noto Peninsula on January 1, 2024, faculty and graduate students belonging to this research department have been utilizing their respective networks and expertise to carry out activities supporting the affected areas and victims. While this is only a small portion of those efforts, they are presented here as an activity report.

Information | Since the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, various entities, including government agencies, corporations, schools, NPOs, communities, and volunteers, have accumulated lessons and knowledge. This research program aims to systematically organize these insights academically, view disaster reduction and recovery as two sides of the same coin, and combine existing academic disciplines cross-disciplinary. Its goal is to develop education and research related to disaster reduction and recovery policies. |
