Build a network that saves lives from disasters with ICT
Swift information sharing and community collaboration during disasters are crucial to minimizing damage. ICT enables real-time situation analysis and facilitates information sharing between local governments and residents, contributing to more efficient evacuation guidance and relief efforts. We will introduce efforts to enhance regional disaster resilience through ICT, such as utilizing widely popular SNS platforms across Asia and visualizing high-risk areas using digital maps.

Information | The Asian Disaster Reduction Center (ADRC) was established in Kobe, Hyogo prefecture, in 1998 with the mission of enhancing the disaster resilience of its member countries, building safe communities, and creating a society where sustainable development is attainable.
