World Bosai Forum official mascot

It all started with people grumbling about how bothersome it was in a meeting hall in temporary housing in Higashimatsushima, Miyagi Prefecture. Instead of making and selling things, we wanted to find foster parents, so that people would know about Higashimatsushima and come to Higashimatsushima. This wish spread by word of mouth through foster parents, and now we have over 320,000 foster parents around the world. We have now launched the Revolist Lab together with the World Disaster Prevention Forum, and are recruiting researchers with the theme of making disaster prevention easy. We also aim to hold a nationwide fashion show for hats that make evacuation drills fun.

REVOLIST Lab

Going beyond the "limits of volunteering" and "the boundaries of work" That's why we are Revolists.

"Make disaster prevention easy"
"Nothing to eat, nothing to drink, no change of clothes.
Of course, we can't keep warm, and we have to fight the heat..."
What is Bosai?
It represents all efforts, including preparation in advance, emergency response after a disaster, and all stages of recovery and reconstruction. We aim to make the Japanese word for disaster prevention, "Bosai," a universal language around the world. We aim to spread the idea of disaster prevention into the policies, societies, and cultures of countries around the world (mainstreaming disaster prevention).
How do we survive in such extreme conditions?
We have witnessed the "limits of volunteer activities" and have keenly felt that there are things that cannot be done within the framework of "work."
That is why we are challenging ourselves to do new forms of disaster prevention activities.

Organization ONOKUN soranoeki PROJECT
Information Mendokushe Ono-kun was born from the desire of mothers living in temporary housing in front of Ono Station to get to know Higashimatsushima and visit it. The group started the Disaster Prevention x Hat Festival with the aim of turning disaster prevention into entertainment, and has now launched the Revolist Lab together with the World Disaster Prevention Forum. Together with Reborist researchers, the group will verify, put into practice and demonstrate the ideas of each individual through hat fashion shows, stages, merchandise ateliers and more.
