Information | Bosai Science Living Lab is an open innovation initiative that conducts a series of social experiments based on disaster risk reduction science in the context of real people's lives and communities. The aim is to create new services and innovations that solve social issues and local needs related to disasters, through a combination of two wheels: co-creation with a wide range of stakeholders (businesses, academia, citizens, and local communities) and monitoring of “how to use” systems. Specifically, we will use smartphone apps to encourage reliable evacuation behavior based on self-help and mutual aid tailored to individuals, and we will work with stakeholders to form mutual aid communities based on disaster risk reduction science, with the aim of creating an inclusive society. |
