A total of 5,412 participants from 40 countries and regions attended our forum in 2023, which spanned over three days. The forum featured 30  oral sessions, 7 conferences, 55 poster sessions, 33 flash talk presentations, and 33  exhibition booths for the EXPO.

This diverse program facilitated dialogue among exhibitors and visitors from international organizations, governments, academia, the private sector, NGOs, and citizens.

At the World Bosai Forum 2023, we formulated recommendations for the Mid-Term Review Process of the SFDRR, which were encapsulated in the WBF Sendai Declaration 2023. Our recommendations were delivered to Ms. Mami Mizutori, Head of UNDRR at that time.
