Registration Form

All participants are required to register. Only registrants with full access can apply for a session. No extra charge is required to apply for a session. Please read this page and register using the form below.

Full Access Registration & Online Access Registration 

You will be able to access almost all content. High school students and younger can register for free. If you fall under any of the following categories, please apply using the button below:

• ・Researchers and students involved in disaster risk reduction
• ・Those who participate as a member of a company or organization
• ・High school students and younger (100% discount)
• ・Those who wish to participate online
• ・Those who want to apply for an oral session, poster session, and flash talk presentation 
• ・Those who wish to access all oral sessions, poster sessions,  flash talk presentations, and booths
• ・Those who wish to watch archived videos during and after the forum

Limited Acces Registration

• ・Those who only want to see the poster session, flash talk presentations, booths, and public sessions
• ・Those who do not plan to speak at or help with any sessions
• ・Those who are participating out of personal interest, unrelated to the work or activities of a company or organization
• ・Those who are just interested in the World Bosai Forum

Visa Policy

Visa Policy

Participants from outside of Japan are required to check with their local Japanese Embassy or Consulate for visa requirements.

The World Bosai Forum secretariat is able to issue a Letter of Invitation in English upon completion of payments for registration to prove acceptance to participate in the World Bosai Forum 2025 in Sendai. Invitation letters cannot be issued in formats other than the following.

However, this letter does not guarantee a visa. Further, the World Bosai Forum secretariat has no control over the visa application process or the decisions taken by the Japan Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Please note that the World Bosai Forum secretariat is not able to issue additional documents that may be required for a visa such as organization registration letter, letter of guarantee, schedule of stay, local sponsorship or governmental format letters. Should your visa application be rejected, the World Bosai Forum secretariat cannot engage to change the decision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, or with the Japanese embassies or consulates.

Participants who require visas are advised to start the process as early as possible.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel by 12:00 AM (JST) on Saturday, December 31, 2024 you will receive a full refund of the amount paid.

If you cancel after 12:00 AM (JST) on Saturday, December 31, 2024, you will not receive any refund. Please note that the deadline is 12:00 AM (noon) JST of the deadline.

Please also note that any refund of the participation fee is subject to the terms and conditions of the credit card company with which the payment was made.

Support Members

When you register for the World Bosai Forum 2025, you will automatically be registered as a World Bosai Forum Support Member.
There is no membership fee. Support members will receive newsletters and event announcements by email.

If you do not wish to receive email notifications, please follow the prescribed procedure to cancel your membership after the forum.
