Outline
The goals of bosai are on a sustainable and peaceful society and human welfare. In the health science domain, which shares common goals, a discipline named health communication has been developed and practiced. Health communication deals with behavioral changes in people via intervention in effective and helpful ways. At IRIDeS, Tohoku University, we are launching new initiatives of “bosai communication” that study and practice the intervention methods for the bosai behavior changes. I will introduce a new project focused on the reduction of future earthquake disasters in Japan in the framework of bosai communication science.
