April is the month when many people embark on a new journey in life, be it for higher education, a new job, or a job transfer. With the start of the new financial and academic year, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) has launched a new website to introduce food stockpiling, " Disaster Food Stockpiling Guide for Single People".

Here is the link to the guide which can be viewed easily on your smartphone. Please take a look when you have a moment.

This guide is a website designed to help people easily incorporate home stockpiling into their daily lives in order to live with peace of mind in the face of the increasingly frequent and severe disasters of recent years.

Especially for those who live alone, who often overlook disaster preparation, the simple icons and concise text show what items are needed and why, how to start stockpiling, and how to correctly store your stockpiled goods.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) provides information on the Home Stockpiling Portal about the practicalities of stockpiling food in the home and considerations to be taken for households with infants, the elderly, and those with food allergies.
