概要
仙台防災枠組（SFDRR）が採択されてから8年が経過しましたが、世界は新型コロナウイルス感染症や紛争、国内でも国家間でも富裕層と貧困層の格差が拡大するなど、さらに多様な課題に直面しています。 しかし、そのような状況に受け身で対処することだけで手一杯となってしまえば、真の持続可能な発展は実現しません。
災害前の取り組みの重要性は不変であり、ますます重要になっています。仙台防災枠組が目指している「事前防災投資」の精神をより一層、実践強化するためには、より明確、シンプルで実践的な知見や指標が必要です。本セッションでは、世界が仙台防災枠組の現在、将来、そして次なる防災の枠組みに向けて何を優先すべきかを、知識とツールの観点から提示します。 そして、防災について志を同じくする 国の、学界、政府、公的機関、民間部門の関係者の間で、新しいオープンで柔軟かつ活発な世界的なプラットフォームを開始することが、有用な知識やツールを共同で開発するために強力な推進機構となることを確認します。
