概要

China, being highly susceptible to natural disasters, has been actively enhancing public awareness and disaster preparedness through educational initiatives. This study examines the development of disaster education in different provinces of China and analyzes the implementation gaps and challenges that have significant impacts on public safety and societal resilience. While China has established a comprehensive framework for disaster education through collaboration between government, educational institutions, and various stakeholders, our research provides valuable insights into regional variations in implementation strategies. The findings reveal that China's disaster education strategies vary significantly by region, effectively tailored to local risks and development needs. This regional adaptation demonstrates China's commitment to contextual learning approaches. Our research provides valuable insights into targeted disaster management through education in diverse contexts while identifying areas for further enhancement in resource allocation and evaluation mechanisms. The study's systematic comparative analyses and case studies offer unprecedented insights into implementing disaster education in a geographically diverse nation, providing transferable practices for different regions. This comprehensive study uniquely contributes to disaster management literature, offering valuable references for countries with similar social conditions and ultimately aiming to enhance disaster preparedness across diverse populations.
