Overview
In Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction, persons with disabilities and their organizations were recognized as important stakeholders, and also Universal Design 2020 Action Plan clearly stated the promotion of barrier-free of the heart and the aiming for the realization of the inclusive society. This session discussed the role of a local community concerning the life of the elderly and people with disabilities in disaster risk reduction.
