Overview
The session introduces a case study of Katahira District in Sendai City, where DRR is included in one of community development activities. At Katahira District several efforts are made to encourage participation from diversified groups and to foster younger generation for serving for their community activities. The session aims at discussing about ways of sustainable DRR activities based on Katahira's experiences.
