Message

I first became involved in disaster risk reduction when I visited Bangladesh to survey the damage as part of my research project as a student. Over the years, with the support of many people, we have been able to establish a organization, The World BOSAI Forum. It is my sincere hope that we can involve many people and send the message of disaster prevention (BOSAI) from Tohoku and Sendai to people all over the world, so that as many people as possible can protect their lives from disasters.
